Option Two: Bordered with handmade ebru paper.

Typically, I border the piece with decorative marbled paper, made from my own handmade paints that I float on a thickened water.

I can also add illuminated corners to the piece, with handpainted tezhip and gold leaf borders.

I make the frames by hand in my woodshop from solid cherry, milled in Bloomington in 2010.

now All that is left is to decide the calligraphy style!

At the moment I am only using traditional scripts for original works. I made this decision because I would like to do works that let the calligraphy stand out and speak for itself.
